This Strawberries & Cream Hot Chocolate takes just 5 minutes to whip up, and it's the perfect sweet treat for Valentine's Day. It's made with real fresh strawberries and melted white chocolate!
Welcome back, lovelies! I am so excited to be sharing PINK hot cocoa with y'all today! More specifically, Strawberries & Cream Hot Chocolate. So festive and SO yummy. Also, can I just say that I don't know what sort of miracle happened that got me so organized for the holidays? Like, honestly I'm never like this. Especially not for a small holiday like Valentine's. Y'all know by now I am the worst at posting seasonal recipes. This year the planets must have aligned just right because this is already my second Valentine's post, AND I have a third one coming up! Again, I don't know what is happening but I'm not gonna question it.
But back to the main subject here. Strawberry hot chocolate! I had been wanting to make a pink and/or colorful drink ever since all-unicorn-everything jumped onto the scene, but I also knew I didn't want to be boring and just straight up make unicorn cocoa. Everyone else is already doing that. We gotta do something different. Enter, this drink! Made with REAL pureed strawberries to give it lots of flavor and a gorgeous natural color. I thought this was so perfect for Valentine's, and it's a delicious option for those who think unicorn cocoa is an abomination because it's all food coloring.
I have to admit that I diiiid add a tiny little drop or two of pink coloring into my strawberries & cream hot chocolate, but it does come out pretty pink by itself so you can absolutely leave it out! I just wanted to make sure the PINK got across in my pictures so I employed a little bit of help. 🙂 Honestly though, this is the perfect lazy girl's Valentine's treat. It's got chocolate, it's got strawberries, and it takes like, 5 minutes and 4 ingredients {7 if you count whipped cream, sprinkles, and marshmallows}. It's so cute and festive that it works as perfectly for a Galentine's get-together as it does for watching Netflix by yourself. Or with a special one. I know my fiance' is well past the point of judging my pink drinks, tbh. Or any other ridiculous thing I make. There is no shame here. I highly encourage you to make as many pink foods as your little heart desires.
Happy cooking and happy {almost} Valentine's day! Don't forget to come back on Monday for a final, last-minute holiday recipe! 🙂

Oh my God, that looks so amazing! I like white chocolate more than I like the regular one, so this would be really something for me!

Thanks for your sweet comment, Adina! I am a big fan of regular hot chocolate but white hot chocolate is so fun for a change! 🙂
