These Double Chocolate Chip Cranberry Cookies are the perfect Christmas twist on everyone's favorite cookie! Chewy cookie dough is combined with white chocolate, dark chocolate, and dried cranberries for a delicious wintery treat.
It's officially December! Which means it's cookie season, and it also means Christmas recipes are TOTALLY fair game from now on. Yes? Yes. I am glad we agree. This year, I once again participated in a Food Blogger Cookie Exchange, and these little beauties are what I whipped up! Double Chocolate Chip Cranberry Cookies, packed with white and dark chocolate chips and chewy dried cranberries. SO yum, and perfect for winter. Let's bake them!
I am so close to being off of school for winter break that I can count the days on two hands, and honestly I don't know how I feel about it! Like, YES I'm about to have a whole blissful month off to do whatever I please. BUT also I have to somehow take like 5 tests in the span of 8 days so that makes me a little bit nervous. Ooop. But then! FREEDOM! I have so many recipes to make for y'all and I'm so excited!
Also, sidenote, can I just say it blows my mind that I've already {only?} been back in school for the past 7 months?! And I'm halfway done with the classroom part of my degree???? Cue existential crisis. I'm sure this is going to be a recurring theme and in the summer, you will SURELY see a post from me saying something along the lines of, "Now they want me to go practice real medicine in a real hospital?!" But really. All things considered, I truly do love PA school and I've learned so much! My favorite party trick by far is telling people I'm a food blogger though 😉
BUT, enough about my life! So these cookies are fantastically chewy and soft in the middle, with irresistible crispy edges. I wanted to go with the classic combo of white chocolate and cranberry, but as you all know, my household revolves around dark chocolate so I threw in a handful of that too. The combination is delicious! Sweet white chocolate, slightly bitter dark chocolate, and tangy cranberries, all in a blanket of buttery brown sugar deliciousness. Yummmm. Wish I had some now!
Of course, since this was a cookie exchange, I have to share the love! I received these delicious Raspberry Almond Shortbread Cookies from Pale Yellow Bakes, and these Chocolate Peppermint Cookies from Seduction in the Kitchen. Both super yummy!
I hope these deliciously easy double chocolate chip cranberry cookies make an appearance in your Christmas cookie exchange this year!
