Fancy up your weekday coffee with this super easy Almond Milk Mocha! All you need is 4 ingredients and 5 minutes, and you’ll feel like you’re sipping on a fancy $7 drink!
Hello, my dearest readers! I am so excited to be sharing this post with y’all today. I paired up with Community Coffee to share a quick and easy Almond Milk Mocha recipe, and I’ll also be showing off some of my favorite mugs {and encouraging you to share yours!}. I’m a bit of a coffee fiend myself, but between going to PA school full-time and running the blog, it’s kind of necessary. 😉 My everyday coffee is a big mug of dark roast with stevia and almond milk, but I decided to fancy it up a little bit for you! Let me show you how it’s done.
To start, you’ll need some fresh-brewed Community Coffee, of course! Usually, I use my Keurig so I can get my caffeine as fast as possible before running out the door. However, if it’s the weekend or I have a little extra time in the morning, I do love a good, strong cup of French press coffee. To make it a little more fun, I decided to add a big heaping spoonful of dark cocoa powder into my coffee and let me tell you, it’s life changing. To be honest, I might never go back now! 😉 I love chocolate and I love coffee, so I don’t see any reason to separate the two.
To really take this almond milk mocha over the top, I decided to froth the milk for that extra coffeehouse touch. Believe it or not, almond milk froths beautifully! There’s nothing like that fancy foam and sprinkle of cocoa on top to make you feel like you’re drinking a fancy $7 cup of coffee! 😉
As promised, here’s me with one of my brand new Community Coffee mugs! They generously sent me a variety of different coffee mugs to pick from, but I have to say I just love the ombre effect on this one. Also, this was taken approximately two seconds before I spilled my mocha all over the floor and also myself. So take your coffee mug selfies at your own risk, and make sure your mug isn’t too full! 😉
Of course, I have to show off some other mugs that are near and dear to my heart! My favorite one by FAR has to be my engagement mug! I did a collaboration with one of my sweet friends who does custom vinyl decals, and I absolutely love the design she made for me. My next absolutely necessary mug, well… I think it’s clear why I love it so much! 🙂 And the inside is maroon, which predictably speaks to my little Aggie heart. Coffee makes everything possible… no explanation needed there, either! As for my “Little” mug, it was hand painted by my sorority Big Sister and I love it so much! I’ve actually gotten to the point where I try not to use it too much because I’m afraid of ruining it. It’s such a gorgeous keepsake!
I hope you love this super easy Almond Milk Mocha as much as I do! Be sure to share your own favorite coffee mug on social media with the hashtags #ShowYourMug and #contest, and you could win a whole year’s supply of Community Coffee and other fun goodies! I can’t wait to see what y’all share! 🙂
