S'mores Stuffed Pretzels are the beautiful lovechild of two favorite snack-time treats. These soft pretzels are filled with ooey gooey chocolate and marshmallows, and are absolutely irresistible!
Hello my lovelies! Your favorite blogger has returned and today, I bear gifts. More specifically, these completely insane S'mores Stuffed Pretzels. Yep. I went there. I bought a ball of pizza dough on a whim at the store, with the intent to make something that was most decidedly not pizza, and this is what came out. A pretty fantastic outcome, if I do say so myself. 😉 I know they look fancy, but they're really SO simple to make! Let me show you.
The key to the easiest, fastest pretzels here is buying store-bought pizza dough, but you can also make it from scratch! HERE is a link to my favorite pizza dough recipe! You then divide your dough into 4 equal pieces, form 4 long little snakes, stuff them with marshmallows and chocolate, and just twist the whole thing up like a pretzel! I went with this combo because it's so easy and delicious, but really the sky is the limit. I am so obsessed with this trashed up pretzel trend I've been seeing all over food blogs lately!
Again - not as hard as it sounds, and visuals always help! S'mores stuffed pretzels are basically what my soul needed after a long, impossible week at school. Not like every week isn't impossible but, ya know. A girl needs a break sometime 😉 I've also been trying my best to diet and count calories, so this was my much needed splurge! Nothing wrong with chocolate and marshmallow-stuffed carbs, right? Right. Glad we're on the same page.
Speaking of school, I am now basically less than a month away from winter break and I am SO excited. I can't wait to bake ALL THE THINGS. And not study medicine and drugs for like, 5 minutes. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love PA school and I am learning so much, but some days your brain just feels like soggy Jell-o, you know? I'm hoping to be able to play catch-up over the break, since I know I've been slacking on my blogging. Again, my lil baby blog is sadly not my top priority with everything else going on but I'm trying my best! In my absence, just drown your sorrows in s'mores stuffed pretzels. I won't judge 😉
If you're wanting something a little simpler, you can start out by trying my Homemade Soft Pretzels first! Happy baking!
{HERE is the recipe for homemade pizza dough}
s'mores stuffed pretzels
Ingredients
- 1 batch of homemade pizza dough {recipe link above} or store-bought pizza dough
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 ½ cups mini marshmallows
- 4 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 3-4 tablespoon baking soda
- 8 cups water
Instructions
- First, prepare the pizza/pretzel dough according to directions. Split the ball of dough into 4 equal parts.
- Flour your work surface well, and grab one of your small dough portions.
- Roll it out into a long log, and using a rolling pin, flatten it out.
- Sprinkle mini marshmallows and chocolate chips in the center of the log, then using some water to help, pinch the edges of the dough back together to enclose the filling.
- Arrange the log in a U shape, cross the tails twice, and bring the tails back down to the center of the U to create a pretzel shape {you can see my image in the post for some guidance!}. Using a little more water, seal the ends of the pretzels together.
- Repeat to make all your pretzels.
- Preheat the oven to 500F.
- In a large pot, bring the 8 cups of water to a boil, and add the baking soda. Boil the pretzels, one at a time, for about 30 seconds on each side, then move to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the pretzels with the melted butter, and sprinkle more marshmallows and chocolate chips on top if you'd like.
- Bake pretzels in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown and toasted. Enjoy warm!

I think these are totally worth the calories!! And kudos to you for blogging and going to school. Unless you blog, you don't really understand how much time and work goes into each post, right?! Xoxo

Are these freezable or able to be put in a deep fryer?! Looks delish!

Hi Britt! You could try to freeze these though I have not tried it myself - I would do it before or after the boiling step. I would not recommend deep frying as I'm afraid the filling would come out in the hot oil and cause a lot of burning 🙂 Hope that helps!
