Time for spring break, y'all! Woohoo! I'm so happy that I finally get a little break from studying and get to sleep in. Ahh, it's the little things. As it always happens when I'm at home, I've been planning some Italian food for the blog this week! We are starting off with the classic Italian Affogato. All you need is some piping hot espresso and your favorite flavor of gelato {or ice cream, I won't judge}... two ingredients, absolute perfection. I used hazelnut gelato today because that's all I had available, but it's classically done with vanilla. I'm sure any flavor you want to try will be delicious in this!
I'm sharing this non-recipe today because it's ridiculously delicious and too easy to not have in your repertoire! If you ever have people over and want to impress them, just whip this up. Between the fancy Italian name and the indulgent, rich creaminess, you'll never want to have coffee any other way. Why have a morning latte when you can have a morning affogato? Ain't nothing wrong with ice cream for breakfast, in my opinion.
Also I'm trying something new on today's post... what do y'all think of this coffee gif? Is it moving for you? Hopefully it is 🙂 This was super fun and I'm definitely thinking about incorporating more of these in my future posts! In the meanwhile, happy spring break and happy coffee drinking!
