It's almost here! 2014 is just a measly day away. As I type this, it's actually less than 12 hours away! Oh em geee! Not to brag, but 2013 was an amazing year for me! From becoming an Aggie to joining a fantastic sorority {and gaining dozens of beyond-wonderful sisters} to baking my first wedding cake to getting my first sponsor... sponsors! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to H-E-B, Chobani, Mazola, and Causora for looking at my little blog and seeing something wonderful waiting to happen. The year just wouldn't have been the same without them! Let's not forget about breaking all sorts of records on Facebook and Pinterest in terms of fans! I started the year with 1,125 Facebook fans and ended with 8,293. I totally can't complain! You guys are all so wonderful, thank you for sticking around through highs and lows and Facebook mishaps 🙂 If you aren't a fan yet {GASP}, you can simply click the logo on the right sidebar 🙂 This year brought 87 blog posts, 7168 new Facebook fans, countless repins on Pinterest, and over 150k views! You guys are fantastic and I don't know what I would do without y'all. 🙂 Just for fun, let's review the most viewed recipes of 2013!
the best recipes of 2013
Brownie Mix Crinkle Cookies won first place by a LANDSLIDE! Ironically, though I posted the recipe in June, it got most of its views in December. Christmas baking, anyone? Second place was my Oreo Poke Cake, followed by the Chevron Burlap Wreath Tutorial, Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Mug Cake, Truffle Brownies {did I mention they're one bowl?}, Turkey and Rice Stuffed Peppers, Birthday Cake Oreo Brownies, Lemon White Chocolate Rolls, and Nutella Rolls. What a delicious year! It was dominated by chocolate, as usual, but I'm happy to see some crafts and healthy foods were able to sneak up in there. 🙂 I;m very excited for the new year because, suprise! I got a new camera. And it's a fancy blogger camera! My excitement cannot be contained! 🙂 So all my blog posts from now on will be shot with a better camera and my posts will be better than ever. Prepare to drool!
